It's really fascinating how the little towns in this area have different European roots. Evansville has Germany, an hour east of here is a town called Tell City that is of Swiss heritage, and another an hour north, Vincennes, has French heritage. Another community not far away is Creole. It's sort of like NYC, except there are trees and barns instead of sidewalks and buildings. 8-)
